Two-year-old Toledo girl shot and killed, stepfather arrested
TOLEDO (WTVG) - Toledo Police have confirmed to 13abc that a baby shot on Sunday morning has died and that an arrest has been made in the case. At around 8:00 a.m., officers were dispatched to St. Charles Hospital, where hospital staff told them that 2-year-old Journi Johnson was suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Johnson was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police then arrested 27-year-old Turhan Johnson, Journi's stepfather, and charged him with child endangering.
