    TOLEDO, Ohio (13abc Action News) - The City of Toledo announced big changes Tuesday to some of its administrator positions. According to a release from the city, Paul Rasmusson was hired to head up the Department of Public Service starting August 11, 2017. Rasmusson joins the city from GFL Environmental, in Sterling Heights, Michigan. He previously worked with the City of Toledo as Senior Area Manager for Republic Services.     The Ohio auditor will go over the city of Toledo’s books this year, not a private firm.  Mayor Paula Hicks-Hudson asked the state to look into the city’s finances following a public disclosure of an $8 million fund that sat idle for five years, according to the Toledo Blade.  The paper said the idle money was the result of years of “illegal commingling funds”.
